How pathways are researched.

The project's approach to identifying, verifying, and classifying healthcare pathways for young people. Transparency is built into every step.

01

Identify

Pathways are identified from publicly available program pages, organization websites, and published resources covering healthcare roles and learning opportunities for young people in the greater Rochester area.

02

Verify against primary sources

Every factual eligibility claim is checked against its primary source when one exists. Where an official program page is unavailable, secondary sources are labeled as such and the limitation is noted.

03

Classify

Each record receives a classification reflecting whether youth eligibility is documented (GREEN), unclear or conditional (YELLOW), or restricted (RED). Classifications follow consistent written criteria.

04

Keep current

Records carry a verification date. The dataset is periodically re-checked, and corrections suggested by readers or organizations are entered for manual review and re-verification before any change is made.

Sources

Source standards.

Primary sources preferred

Official program pages, organization websites, and published opportunity listings are the preferred basis for every eligibility claim.

Every claim linked

Where a claim depends on a source, the record carries a URL to it so readers can verify directly rather than relying on the project's word.

Limitations noted

Where eligibility is not publicly stated or a primary source cannot be confirmed, the record is marked accordingly instead of being presented as fact.

The Rochester Youth Healthcare Pathways Project provides informational research based on publicly available sources. Opportunity requirements and availability may change. Inclusion does not constitute endorsement by the listed organization, and organizations listed do not necessarily endorse or participate in the project. Classification reflects documented eligibility within the project's research methodology and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Students should verify current requirements directly with the organization before applying.
