How listings are verified

Every pathway listing in the Rochester Youth Healthcare Pathways Project is compiled from publicly available program pages and verified against a primary source—typically the organization's own website—before publication. Each listing carries a verification date, and eligibility details link to their source where available.

Nothing is automatically published. Submissions through the pathway form are reviewed manually and independently verified before they appear in the public database.

Visual eligibility status

Listings are classified to signal how confident the project is in a stated age eligibility:

  • Available under 18 — a stated age minimum of 17 or younger is documented.
  • Eligibility unclear — age requirements are not clearly documented; readers are directed to the source.
  • 18+ — the opportunity is documented as requiring adulthood.

Unverified entries are never presented as factual. Where eligibility is uncertain, that uncertainty is shown rather than assumed.

How to report an error

If a listing contains incorrect, outdated, or missing information, use the "Suggest a Correction" control on the project's database page, or email sonnymarmon7@gmail.com. Please include the record name, what is incorrect, the correct information, and a supporting source URL when available.

Reported corrections are reviewed and re-verified against primary sources before any change is made. Corrections that are confirmed are applied and the listing's verification date is updated.

Editorial standards

The site distinguishes three categories and never blurs them:verified facts (with primary sources where available), Sonny's personal experience and perspective, and project-generated findings. Opinions are clearly labeled. No statistical finding is published before it is compiled, verified, and sourced.

References to employers, professional associations, educational institutions, or other organizations do not imply endorsement either way.

Scope of the project

The project does not advocate removing legitimate safety, legal, regulatory, licensing, or organizational restrictions. Its purpose is to identify age-appropriate pathways that already exist and to examine where additional responsible pathways may be possible.
